The topic of the webinar is ORAL HISTORY: PROSPECTS AND PERSPECTIVES IN NORTH EAST INDIA and the Resource person of the Webinar was Dr. Biman Hazarika, Principal Dhing College and former HoD, Department of History, Dhing College, Dhing, Nagaon, Assam.
2 2021 22.08.2021 Archives Without Walls: A Paradigm Shift The Department organised its first online lecture series in memory of Dr. Himangsu Sarmah on 22nd August 2021 on his 44th birth Anniversary. The resource person of this session was Professor Meeta Deka, Former HoD, Department of History, Gauhati University.

4 2021 30.10.2021 Dr. Himangsu Sarmah Memorial Lecture III The III Dr. HSM Lecture series was held on 30th October 2021. the Speaker of that session was Mr. Kuldeep Patowary, Assistant Professor, Department History, University of Gauhati.

6 2021 28.12.2021 Lecture on The Department organized its V Dr. HSMLS online lecture on " Post Modernism, Colonial Discourse and Archaeology of North East India". The Resource person of this lecture was Dr. Tilok Thakuria, Assistant Professor, Department of History and Archaelogy, NEHU, Tura Campus, Meghalaya.
7 2021 24.02.2021 Educational tour The department organized an educational tour for the students of B.A. (Honors) and went to Tezpur for an educational field trip. They visited different locations of historical significance under the guidance of teachers, Raj Ballav Nath and Rashmi Hazarika.
8 2021 28.11.2021 Felicitation of Best Graduate The department organized a special program for the felicitation of the Best Graduate, Ms Alpana Sukai who secured the First Class First position in the B.A. (History) Final Examination of Gauhati University in 2020.
9 2021 30.12.2021 Paper presentation in National Seminar The teachers of the department, Deepak Kalita, Raj Ballav Nath and Suman Das jointly prepared a seminar paper titled 'Indigenous Health Practices and Medicinal Plant Knowledge of the Tiwas(Lalungs) : A Study' in a national seminar organized by the Department of Zoology. Raj Ballav Nath gave the presentation of the paper.

Dr. Neeva Rani Phukan, Associate Professor, Department of Assamese, KK Handique Open State University, Assam was the resource person of this Lecture.

16 2022 04.01.2022 Educational Tour The department organized an educational tour for the students of B.A. (Honors) and went to Sibasagar for a two-day long educational field trip. They visited different locations of historical significance in and around Sibasagar under the guidance of teachers, Raj Ballav Nath and Suman Das.
17 2022 09.02.2022 Inauguration of wall magazine The department wall magazine, 'Anuranan' prepared by the students for the session 2022-23 was inaugurated by Dr Lila Kanta Borthakur, Principal, Morigaon College
18 2022 29.04.2022 Bihu Dance Competition The students of the department participated in the Bihu Dance Competition organized by the Alumni Association of Morigaon College and bagged the 2nd prize in the Jeng Bihu category.
19 2022 16.07.2022 Department farewell The department organized an event for bidding farewell to its final year students. The students gifted an wall clock as a parting memento the department.
20 2022 05.09.2022 Teachers' Day Celebration The students of the department organized an event for the celebration of Teachers' Day in which the teachers delivered speeches and the students performed songs and recited poems dedicated to the occasion.
21 2022 12.08.2022 Orientation program The department organized an orientation program for the B.A. 1st Semester students through which they were given an overview of the course, syllabus and the history of the department.
22 2023 31.03.2023 Asom Chatra Dibas The Department of History organized Asom Chatra Dibas in memory of UP Brahma on 31st March 2023 at the College Premise.
23 2023 14.02.2023 Inauguration of wall magazine The department wall magazine, 'Anuranan' prepared by the students for the session 2022-23 was inaugurated by Dr Nilamoni Phukan, Associate Professor, Deptt of Philosophy, Morigaon College
24 2023 15.02.2023 Wall magazine competition The department wall magazine, 'Anuranan' (session 2023-24), bagged the 3rd prize in the Wall Magazine Competition of the College Week.
25 2023 10.03.2023 Community Extension Activity The department organized a Community Extension Activity regarding awareness against Child Marriage at Solmari Village, Morigaon; the Resource Person for the event was Bandana Devi, District Program Coordinator, Assam Mahila Samata Society, SSA, Morigaon. The students also performed a Skit for the purpose.
26 2023 16.03.2023 Community Extension Activity The department organized a Community Extension Activity at Banpara Village, Morigaon regarding awareness on Mental Health. The Resource Person was Mrs Nimisha Hiru Borah Phukan. The students too performed a skit related to the theme, written and directed by themselves.
27 2023 26.02.2023 Extension Activity A cleanliness drive was organized by the department near the lake Charan Beel at Oujari, Morigaon. The students toiled hard to clean the plastic and other litters on the popular picnic spot of the town.
